Monday Morning Question...

Hello everyone and hello to those who haven't been to my journal before =).  I am hosting Krissy's Monday Morning Question because she is going to be out of town for atleast a few days if not longer.  I am also going to list her Scavenger Hunt participants later today if you would like to come back and see them!

Monday Morning Question

If you were told you had to paint the walls of your home one color (and you can't pick white or off-white) and they would remain that color forever, what would you choose?

My answer:  I think I would choose a muted blue-green color.  I really love reds these days, but I don't think I could live with all my walls red for the rest of my life.  I think I could live with them being a muted blue-green.  What about you?

I will be back to list the Scavenger Hunt participants a little later today!  Thanks! xox

  4. Dark purple....just kidding but when we got our house that was the color of Erics room!  I use to write his spelling words on his wall with chalk so he could lay on his bed and learn them.  This resulted in many 100's!  If I had to pick one color ...it definately would NOT be pepto bismal pink!  I am thinking a nice sand color or light blue or yellow.   Something sunny!  Have a great week Val.  I am praying for John and Krissy! 7. I think I would have to go with a very light blue or green. For years when I first started living on own every place I rented had the ugliest dark yuck green walls, now everything is white. I hope you have a great day. I am praying for krissy and John.

  12. I would go with a light taupe or a light tan. Years ago I painted 2 of my bedroom walls this dark teal color when "teal" was all the rage.  I HATE IT and have for several yrs but my furniture is so big and heavy it's a daunting task, painting. But I have to get it done.  LOL My home office is butter yellow and I have a large wallpaper border of hydrangeas at the top.  I love this room.  Hope John is doing better. Please give them my regards when you talk to them.
    Love ya Val.

  13. I'd agree with you. I like blue and I like green and a muted version of that combination sounds good to me. I already have a teal color on my bedroom walls but repainting that soon to a "wheat" color to make the room look larger.

  16. Gee this is a hard one.  For the rest of my life?  I guess I will pick blue, because it is calming.  No, a slate blue.

  19. I have a lot of dark brown paneling and the only painted wall by the former owner in the cabin is painted orange which is in just patches.   I think the orange goes well.   The kitchen has a subdued goldish/yellow on the only 2 painted walls with the dark paneling.   It is a gloss paint and is easily cleaned and I will stay with it.   The next walls in the new addition will be wood grain with clear polyurethane.   I like the gray walls with a complimentary trim on Jerry Seinfeld's apartment where he gets into his dilema's.   Since it is on every day and night, 7 days a week, and I get to the point where I can't watch for the one hundrereth time and then I end of watching one because I don't know ever single spoken line by every character.    I like blue/green alot but it has to match with the ceiling and trim so how could I possibly pick one color?     Do this qualify as an answer?    mark
