Can we have your prayers, please?...
My boyfriend, John, is a couple hours away, in the intensive care unit of a large hospital. We went to the local ER yesterday because he has had severe pain in his chest and back. He thought he had just pulled a muscle or two. It turns out he has a lot of fluid around his heart. They had to helicopter him away from me =( to another, better hospital equipped to care for him last night. I talked to him awhile ago. He said they are trying to figure out why he has the fluid before they drain it. Apparently it can be a virus, infection, or a disease process. They don't want to drain it and it fill right back up. We would appreciate your prayers.
Also, Krissy, my sister, was in the ER at the same time. She has developed pneumonia. She is not feeling well at all. Can you please pray for her, too? She could be missing in action from her journal for awhile. Thanks so much for praying for my little family. I will keep you updated. God bless you all. Val xox

ReplyDeleteThat is good they took John to a beter hospital, but too bad it is away from you. I know you love him & I will certainly say big prayers for him. Also for you, I know you will be worried about him. Please keep me posted.
I knew that Krissy had muscle spasms and that she had gone to ER & got a musle relaxant. I was NOT aware that she had bronchitis and or pneumonia!!! I am so sorry. I have left messages for her to get better, but that's when I thought she just had the muscle spasms.
Oh Valerie, any one you love, I care about deepy, too. You know that after you, Krissy is special to me, and I am sure going to be praying double time for her. Love Always, Merry

ReplyDeleteOh Val, I hate to hear this. Poor John up there in the hospital with out you.
He thought it was a pulled muscle and it was fluid around the heart. Was good that he went to get it checked out. I feel sad for you both but I think all our J-Land prayers will sure help. Wish I was there to help Krissy and then come be with you. Take care and let us know everything going on with John.

ReplyDeleteVal~Geez, we're all falling apart it seems! I sure will be praying for your John; how scarey that must have been for you both. Dutch is just getting over pneumonia (still taking the cough medicidince). He's off work now with a swollen leg that needs to be operated on (old knee injury complications)He has another appointment with the lung Dr. re. his breathing issues. Seems right now that all the health issues are circling like vultures! ;-( If you write me--write dutchyukon@aol.com with "sassy" in the subject line. I can't read my e-mail over at the house cause I have Broadband at the apartment.
