Now a days I also would call the police. I would be scared to open it also.
ReplyDeleteJulie
I'd call the police.
ReplyDeleteBut I'd wait around until they opened it. If its something valuable, it would become mine if the owner wasn't found :)
Cat
Police....maybe before 9/11, I'd have opened it.

I would call the police.
ReplyDeleteBarbara
I'd call the police.
ReplyDeleteLisa
I too would not touch it.....just call the police and let them bring the bomb squad to take care of it. Linda in Washington
ReplyDeleteAs curious as I am, I would never think to open something that wasn't mine. However, I would make a call to local authorities, because as curious as I am, I couldn't just walk past it. Blessings, Penny http://journals.aol.com/firestormkids04/FromHeretoThere
ReplyDeleteI WOULD NOT OPEN IT BUT I WOULD ALERT THE PARK RANGERS OR THE POLICE ON THE SUBJECT. YOU CAN NEVER BE TO SAFE ANYMORE AND I WOULD HATE TO HAVE ITBE SOMETHING TERRIBLE AND BE THE ONE TO WALK AWAY AND NOT NOTIFY ANYONE
ReplyDeleteThese days, for sure I'd call the police.
ReplyDeleteSince I'm such "snoop," I'd have to open it.
ReplyDeleteMissie
I have no idea what I'd do, but can honestly say it wouldn't be a quick decision. CATHY
ReplyDeletecall the police...
ReplyDeleteAstra!
Open it!!
ReplyDeleteKeep smiling.
Love Sylvia xx
First of all if it were so important what would cause the owner to be so careless, lol . I would just turn it into the police unless I heard a ticking sound inside of it. I do want my reward for this extra important find though, lol . mark
ReplyDeleteI guess I would open it...of course, I'm what you get when you dial 911. I'm the governmental guinea pig. Let the cop open it, he's expendable.
ReplyDeleteGreg
Wouldn't touch it. But I too would be too curious. I'd have to hang around till the authorities that I called got there. Ya never know..might be a bundle of money or jewel. And you know what they say...Possession is 9/10s of the law. LOL
ReplyDeleteBarb
Open it!!!! It's probably candid camera. lol
ReplyDelete~Meg
I think I might want to try to turn it in somewhere. Not so much because if I knew it was something really fun I might just open it. What would be so great that it would be in the park and say that on it??? lol If I did open it and it has no address and it has something like a bunch of money Im taking it home with me!
ReplyDeleteI would leave it there too.
ReplyDeleteAnnie =)
Where is the park located, and what time of day is it ?
ReplyDeleteI think I might have to agree with you especially in today's world. Scary thought isn't it?
ReplyDeleteKellen
Think I'd call up the CSI team on that one lol. CATHY
ReplyDeleteI'd be curious but not open, LOL.
