please consider visiting...


Our JLand friend Merry is from Cedar Rapids where all the flooding is.  She has been giving us updates on the flooding situation there.  I haven't heard from her since yesterday and I am worried.  According to the news, things didn't look too good last night.  Please keep Merry in your prayers.  She had flooding in the basement of her home already.  I am hoping she hasn't lost her home already.  If you can, please visit her and leave her a message, too.  I will let you know when I hear she is safe.  Thanks, guys!

    I've never read her journal but I'll be happy to stop by and wish her well.  Coming from a rainy area here in Washington, I certainly understand the damage and destruction too much rain can bring.  Linda in WA

    Yes I too know Merry well and have heard from her today from an email she sent last night I believe. She is having AOL connecting problems but I had those all day yesterday myself here in Boston and finally had to download a differnt version of aol 9.0 and it seemed to work for me and I told Merry this as well. She said she was going to use yahoo as a means of getting and sending mail for today. I know her basement is flooded and hoping that it stops there for her and Dave's sake. Prayers are all going her way.
