It's a special weekend in my family!! You see, my brother-in-law, John, is celebrating his second birthday!! He received his bone marrow transplant for bone marrow cancer two years ago to prevent full-blown leukemia. What a ride it has been. You can read his thoughts about his birthday in and entry in his journal too stubborn to die and in a poignant interview with his wife Krissy in Sometimes I Think. They are worth reading!! Happy Birthday, John!! You are my wind and I love you!!

You know what Val, you are right. John is a very special guy. And you and Krissy are such dear friends, I couldn't ask for more. I have written John & Krissy each, or commented in their journals. You are right it's a great celebration for John. Krissy has had some great stuff happen to her this week, but she greatly deserves it and I am thriled for her. Most of all, thank you for sharing your family with me. I thank God for all of you, you're my rock and you are always there for me. God Bless you & remember I love you. Merry
