I received the above quote in an email from a lovely girlfriend (who told me I was a brilliant conversationist :-)..you are too kind, Cathy) and thought it was so, so true! Don't we want to be around others that affirm us and make us feel good and mirror us?!! I don't know who the author of this quote is, but I really like it so I am posting it.
I realized that I did not mention when my appointment with Johns Hopkins is in my last post! It is Friday...in two days!! Oh my...I thought I had said when it was, but my high-pressure, too much cerebral spinal fluid-brain is making me very ditsy! I have done all kinds of silly, crazy, stupid things this week. Oh well.

That is a beautiful quote Val. Yes, we are all getting trouble with alerts, both of them, either for entries posted or comments to your own posting. As for the up close thing, I simply do not have a clue, looks like paving or edging of some kind. Good luck with your appointment, we will be thinking of you and praying for you.

ReplyDeleteAll the best and every good wish for Friday my friend. I contacted Aol over a week ago about alerts probs, still haven't heard back. They did get in touch regarding connections probs though. Reckon they have a BIG, BIG, problem all round with alerts and are keeping mum over it. My guess for "up close" is the bannister rail on a staircase. Take care, thinking of you.

ReplyDeleteOh I love that quote Val and it is so true. I have so many wonderful friends and supporter who are just that. Perhaps when I get all this excitement out of me I to can learn to listen more and speak less. The most wonderful thing about it though is they love me anyway.

The alerts haven't been working for about a week now. I can't remember if it was Scalzi or Joe Smoke who said to let him know if your alerts were still not working. Probably Joe Smoke Journalseditor.
