This Is So Sad...

This is so sad.  Mr, Cruise, I hope you haven't caused women and babies their lives by your lack of knowlege.  When you choose to speak up about something, please KNOW what you are talking about!  Let's hope this does the reverse as Ms. Shields hopes.

  1. I am clueless on this one Val.  I don't get all the celebrity news when there is so much going on in the journals.  It's nice to talk to the little people like us, and find out what is going on here in J-land.

  7. Mr. Cruise has blown a fuse! He is a head case, literally. Hubby has chemical imbalance due to inherited gene disorder. Here is a challenge to Mr. high and mighty, know it all, Cruise - come and give me a break, next time hubby gets sick.....

  8. No such thing as a chemical imbalance?
    Don't believe in psychology?
My opinion of Mr Cruise just went WAY down, what a ridiculous and dangerous thing to say!
Hadn't heard about this Val, thanks for pointing it out.

  9. Yes, crazy, isn't it.  He should keep his mouth closed when he doesn't know what he is talking about.

  11. I heard Tom speak out to some talk show host and I am concerned with his chemical balance.  One, if he has always been a Scientiologist (spelling?) but kept it hidden to further his career, and now he's filthy rich and has decided to come out with the fact that his religious preference is Scientology, I wonder why he wasn't so proud of that fact way back then.   To me, it would say that he has problems with self-esteem.  If you want to get a good look at what being a actor and becoming a movie star idol really says about a person, especially Tom, I would suggest you read "Lucky Man" by Michael J. Fox.  It's a fabulous book and he is so straight forward with his story you almost feel as if you are right there with him living through all he did before he with full blown with Parkinson's disease.  Pray for Tom, I think he's confused.

  14. I finally saw the story on TV.  Apparently Mr. Cruise's scientology is too far advanced for regular people.  I think Brook knows when it is time to get help, and she did the right thing.

  17. Well I used to kind of like Tom C...now I don't. When did he become such an expert on Mental Health ? I pray for any of any of his friends or family or even him  become mentally ill. It is so sad of the ignorance of this man, and I thought we were starting to get out of the dark ages..............................Kasey

  18. ..."'Before I was a Scientologist, I never agreed with psychiatry,'' Cruise said. ''And when I started studying the history of psychiatry, I understood more and more why I didn't believe in psychology ... And I know that psychiatry is a pseudo science.''

This comment alone leads me to question what exactly his view of the "religion" Scientology is. Some say that is a pseudo-religion. However, it is NOT my place to criticize the religious beliefs of others. However, this is an excellent example why we MUST remain faithful to our forefather's insistence on the absolute separation of church and state. Of which I feel we are straying dangerously from.

As for Tom... money and fame have a way of warping some people's judgment.

  19. Oh I read about this.  And he TORE into Matt Lauer.  I guess people do things like that when they are making butts of themselves!  Then they have to make one out of everyone else.  LOL.

  20. There has been so much talk of all the things which this poor man obviously does not understand.  It was probably a blessing in disguise for the mental health community.  And lets just hope that it was as damaging for the scientology community as it was helpful for the aid of those with mental and behavioral disorders!
