"Up Close With Val" and Happy Easter...

Good Saturday to all and happy Easter weekend!  I haven't made an entry in a whole week!  I have been very busy.  I had two court dates with Chelsea concerning her P.F.A. and charges against her abuser.  She was granted her P.F.A. and at the second court date he pled no contest to the charges and was given the "standard" penalty, fines, etc.  Chelsea is grieving a bit but is glad it is over.  I am so, so, so proud of her.  It was not easy at all for her, but she is forging ahead!!

I have two new pictures for "Up Close With Val" this week.  I've been slacking off on this competition for a few weeks now.  Have fun with it and put your guess(es) in the comment's section or send me an email.  I will let you know by email if you have a correct guess!  I'll let you know who the winner(s) is/are tomorrow or the next day!

I am wishing everyone a very, very blessed Resurrection Day filled with love!!  I hope everyone has a special someone they can spend it with.  Please take care of one another...

JESUS IS RISEN! JESUS IS RISEN! JESUS IS RISEN!

  3. I'm going to make a wild guess and I mean wild!  The first is tree bark and the second the edge of a blanket.  Oh well, at least I tried.  Blessed Resurrection Day to you, Val.  Love, Penny

  4. I give up on this one Val. The 1st one looks like tapioca pudding (don't know whether you have that - if not, dont worry, its awful!) The 2nd photo looks gruesome! Reckon you will be the winner this week. Keep laughing.

  5. First and foremost... congrats to Chelsea, what a horrible ordeal to go through. You should be so very proud of that young lady! How fortunate she was to have you by her side, what a difference that must had made for her.

Geeze it has been like EONS since I did one of these, oh what fun! I'm trying to get back on track with my journal reading. Soooooo... let's see... ah yes..of course! You must have visited a skin doctor lately and the first one is some poor soul in the waiting room who must have the WORST CASE OF... of... FUNGUS BACKITUS. Yeah, patches of brown fungus that appears on the back, very tough to get rid of.

Second one.... Could be a drawing of someone's mouth kinds pursed like this... SEE? (makes wierd face) and right above the mouth is like a long nose with two pinched nostrals.

    See that was easy!

  6. LOL at the other guesses...I say the first one is banana skin. The second? Hmm...a flower for sure. I'll go with the most common kind you see in a bouquet. Carnation?

  7. First one looks like a banana to me, though I see Becky got there before me with that one ;o)  Not sure on the second one, looks like a rose, but I'm so not sure!
(((((hugs))))) to you and Chelsea, glad things went well for her, though it still must be hard to go through.

  12. Val, your mama said the the first one was Pizza cooked dough and the second one was pasta.  I have to got back and look at the first but I think that the second one is part of a flower petal preserved with plastic ot something.  The first one, I think, part of an uncooked mushroom
